I know I have to post about graduation, but I will get to that later.
I just wanted to share something funny. So, I am up at my house on Cape Cod, and this is what I have eaten since I got here…
2 Hamburgers
3 Orders of Mozzarella Sticks
3 Orders of Fries
2 Slices of Pizza
1 Pint of Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream
and like 6 or so Cokes

I am here at my desk working on my Ray Tracing Assignment for computer graphics. I must say, it is not going well. My cable internet was down all day and it kinda threw me off… thats life I guess.
I have ot submit this thing by 8AM tomorrow morning and then I am heading to NY. I gotta pack up some stuff in our house and stop by the office to go over some upcoming projects. On Friday or Saturday I may either go into NYC and stay there for a few days, or possibly head up to Cape Cod. By next Wednesday I gotta be back at Clark. Graduation is not until Sunday the 23rd, but I have to be fitted for my cap and gown on Thursday.
Thats about all for now. I also found out today that an article I wrote about Flash is being published on sitepoint.com. It is going be up starting Friday, and chances are if this is your first time to my blog you probably clicked to it from sitepoint. After being named member of the month for April my posting rate really went down, that is mainly because I am trying to adjust to being home and I have not had as much time to post on there. I shall return

I think its like day 6 of being home. I think I might be starting to lose it. I don’t mind being around my family, but I really want my own space. And by “space”, I mean something other than a small bedroom.
I am thinking I should probably go into super resume sending mode, then maybe I would have more options. It wouldn’t be that hard, I already have a very good, ready-to-go resume.

A woman goes to England to attend a 2-week, company training session. Her husband drives her to the airport and wishes her to have a good trip.

The wife answers, “Thank you honey, what would you like me to bring for you?”

The husband laughs and says, “An English girl!”

The woman kept quiet and left.

Two weeks later he picks her up in the airport and asks,
“So, honey, how was the trip?”

“Very good, thank you”.

“And, what happened to my present?”.

“Which present?”

“What I asked for. The English girl?

“Oh, that? Well, I did what I could. Now we have to wait a few months to see if it is a girl.”

I got into DC at like 10 last night, it was a pretty long drive but I made good time. I am just spending the day getting settled. I have been working my ass off carrying shit around the house. I have desk setup downstairs but I am in still in the process of sorting boxes and stuff. I will post some pictures later once i am setup

So here I am. Today was my last day of college! I spent the day standing next to my poster explaining the stuff over and over and over again. By the time it was time for my actual presentation my throat was killing me. It’s lucky I get to type this cuz I am pretty scratchy right now.
So The first picture above is my Graphic Design Studio class. We went downtown yesterday to present our calendar websites to our “client”. It went pretty well overall. The second picture is of my poster from earlier today. The school took some action shots of me talking to people, I am gonna see if I can get some of those.
I will write more later, but I am pretty tired right now. Relaxation is the keyword.

So I know I am a tad late with this, but I woke up monday morning to find that I had finally been posted on the CNET Three I can’t Live Without Feature. I sent in pics and product info a while ago and was glad to finally see myself up on there. Yes it is a little dorkish… but I think its cool. Plus I have the hottest stuff anyway, so might as well let other people see it
It has been a pretty uneventful week. I am now on the home stretch to say the very least! I have no class monday, 1 class tuesday, My honors project on wednesday, no class thursday and just a graphic design field trip on friday. That is it for my college career! How weird is that?? Seems like just yesterday I was pullin up in front of wright hall (my freshman dorm) in my benz, wearing my diesel t-shirt, mavi jeans and oakleys
Actually it totally does not feel like yesterday, that was a damn long time ago. Now four years later and wiser, I am done (give or take a few days). I am gonna hold off on the stupid post graduation talk since I am sure I will have lots of it once I am actually 100% percent done. That is it for right now. I am kinda having a frosty craving so I might go run that plan…

OK, so Jamie is going a bit nuts. I can count the days I have left of school on 2 hands and 1 toe. I am here working my fool head off and it is really getting to me. I just want to be done. I have worked hard enough the past 4 years, I don’t see why I should have to be proving myself now. It’s difficult because all I care about is the finish line, not any of the stuff I have to do before I get there. After 4 years there is still something that confuses me. Actually it no longer confuses me, surprises is probably a better term. It’s the fact that I can be here working like crazy all the time, yet the people all around me are hardly working. Earlier this afternoon I was out getting lunch and I saw something that just made me stop and laugh. There were two college males outside in the quad fighting with wooden swords. I can just picture the star wars fantasy that was flying their heads as they swing these things at eachother and just make themselves look like the total tools that they are
So maybe I am being a tad harsh, too damn bad lol. If you have not noticed yet, I am not in a good mood.
